The Nature of Her™

A free community for women to come home to their true nature and feel alive again.

Summer is magic_edited.jpg

The Nature of Her™ is a free WhatsApp community for women and mothers who want to explore a different path to health and wellbeing - because despite trying to do everything right, somehow still feel like they're getting it wrong.

You're overwhelmed, overstretched and feeling more and more disconnected from yourself. The Nature of Her™ is a place to step off the hamster wheel and reconnect with your true self, your body, your natural rhythms and the earth.

Together, we'll explore nourishment, cyclical living and nature connection — a new (old) way of living that helps us work with our bodies rather than constantly overriding them, so we can feel more present, vibrant and alive again.

Find your rhythm. Feel more like you.

It's time to remember your nature.

Does this sound like you?

Do you ever feel like you're watching your life pass you by through a window, rather than actually being present in it?

Each week is another merry-go-round of school drop-offs, pick-ups, work, clubs, dinner, tidying and bedtimes. You're constantly ticking things off your mental to-do list, but somehow the list grows faster than you can get through it.

And then there's your health. One doomscroll or podcast later and the list has grown another foot. Eat more protein. Lift heavy. Take collagen. Get your steps in. Sleep eight hours. Manage your stress. Don't forget your supplements.

It's endless. It's exhausting. And despite trying to do all the “right” things, something still doesn't feel right.

Your body is changing shape. Your brain fog makes you laugh and cry in equal measure. And I won't even mention your libido.

Despite everything you've tried, you somehow feel like you're moving further away from the life you actually want. You feel disconnected, a shell of the woman you know is somewhere inside.

You don't want to spend your life simply keeping up with it. You want to feel alive again — vibrant, energetic, confident, joyful and present.

Perhaps it's time we asked a different question?

What we believe

We are women tired of rushing through our lives. Tired of searching outside ourselves for the answer. Tired of the next diet, protocol or wellness trend telling us what we should be doing.

We believe that somewhere along the way, we've become disconnected from our bodies, our natural rhythms and Mother Nature.

Modern life demands the same output from us day after day, but nature doesn't work like that. Nature has cycles. There is light and darkness, growth and rest, expansion and retreat. And as women, we have seasons too.

Our needs change throughout the month, through motherhood and different stages of life, and with stress, sleep, workload and everything else life throws at us. What supports us at one point in our lives may not be what we need in another.

Perhaps health isn't about finding the perfect routine and following it forever. Perhaps it's about learning to understand ourselves well enough to recognise what we need now.

We believe in working with our bodies rather than constantly overriding them and pushing through. We believe food matters enormously, but nourishment is about more than what's on our plate. Sleep, stress, movement, rest, relationships, pleasure, connection, time outside and the way we're living our everyday lives all matter too.

We believe there is wisdom in slowing down enough to notice what our bodies are telling us. As women, we have an intuition that can become harder to hear underneath the noise of modern life, and we want to turn that volume back up. That doesn't mean rejecting science, believing nature has every answer or replacing one set of wellness rules with another. It means learning, questioning, experimenting and noticing. It means becoming more confident in understanding what works for us, rather than blindly following what we're told we should do.

We are nature too.

Perhaps reconnecting with the natural world can help us reconnect with ourselves. There is no perfection here. No shame, no judgement and no rigid rules. This is a community to support, inspire and lift each other up. Together, we want to inspire other women — our daughters, sisters, mothers and girlfriends — to look inward, look to nature and become curious about what their bodies need. Because this is bigger than us. Through hope, curiosity, positivity, open minds and belonging, perhaps we can create ripples that reach far beyond our own lives.

Why I created The Nature of Her™

My journey into natural wellness began with my first pregnancy. It was the first time I really started looking inward rather than outward, and I experienced first-hand how powerful changing the way we eat and live could be.

I'd struggled with IBS and chronic eczema, things I'd been told I'd simply have to live with. Changing my nutrition and lifestyle transformed my experience of my health and fed a curiosity that hasn't really stopped since. I wanted to understand why. That curiosity eventually led me to study nutrition and integrative health and gave me a thirst for passing on what I was learning and experiencing myself.

But along the way, life threw in plenty of bumps. My circumstances changed, work changed, relationships changed, and I changed too.

I had lots of tools I could use to support my body, but I started noticing that sometimes they worked brilliantly and other times they didn't. Fasting was a prime example. Sometimes I felt great. Other times it was an absolute slog. It wasn't until I started paying attention to where I was in my menstrual cycle that I realised everything I'd heard, read and been taught wasn't necessarily right for me, as a woman, at that particular time. That was a big shift for me. Maybe something wasn't simply “good” or “bad”. Maybe context mattered. Then in 2023, I experienced that lesson on a much bigger scale.

On paper, I was doing everything right. I was eating what I considered a great diet, I was happy with my weight, exercising and looking after myself. Then, after a particularly stressful period at work, I discovered a bald spot on my head. It progressively grew until I'd lost half the hair from my head. I had alopecia areata, an autoimmune condition. That experience forced me to look beyond food and exercise. I realised: I couldn't out-nourish a life that was overwhelming me.

I had to look at the whole picture — my stress, my environment, my life and the season I was in. And now, entering perimenopause, I'm experiencing another changing season. Things that worked for me in my thirties aren't necessarily what my body needs from me now. So I've changed the question I'm asking. Instead of “What's the healthiest thing I can do?”, I ask: “What does my body need from me right now?”

Increasingly, I find myself looking to the natural world. Nature understands change. She doesn't expect spring to behave like winter or ask a tree to flower all year. There are times for growth and abundance, and times for letting go and rest.

Nature speaks this language.

And this was the seed of The Nature of Her™.

What we'll explore together

Together, we'll explore how to nourish ourselves — and not only with food. We'll look inward and become more curious about our bodies, start noticing our personal rhythms and learn more about our body's language. We'll explore cyclical living and look to nature for clues, connection and grounding. We'll talk nutrition, food, women's wellbeing, stress, rest, movement, changing bodies, motherhood, perimenopause, pleasure and the messy reality of trying to look after ourselves while living full lives. We'll also question some of the wellness rules we've absorbed rather than blindly following them. Is this right for me? Is it right for me now? What happens when I try it? What do I need in this season? And we'll explore it all with curiosity rather than perfection.

🌙 Each week, we'll find our rhythm

We'll LISTEN, checking in with ourselves and noticing what we need. We'll EXPLORE, trying new ideas, learning about nutrition and wellbeing, getting outside and experimenting with different ways of living and eating. And we'll EXHALE, reflecting, sharing the quiet wins and bringing more fun, pleasure and joy back into wellbeing.

🌿 Each month, we'll go a little deeper

We'll explore different themes through conversations, live sessions, guest experts and occasional Nature Experiments — small things to try and notice, rather than another challenge you can fail at.

🍂 And we'll follow nature's seasons

As the world around us changes, we'll pause and notice what's changing for us too. Around the equinoxes and solstices, we'll have the opportunity to go deeper with The Nature of Her Seasonal Reset — a chance to reflect, reconnect and ask: What am I ready to leave behind? What has been nourishing me? What is my body telling me? What do I need in the season ahead?

Some of these deeper Seasonal Reset workshops may be optional paid experiences, but The Nature of Her community itself is free.

And importantly, this isn't another community you have to keep up with. Children home for the holidays? Go and be with them. Work gone mad? Deal with life. Haven't checked in for three weeks? That's okay. There's nothing to catch up on and no falling behind.

Dip in. Dip out. Rejoin the rhythm whenever you're ready. We'll still be here.

This is bigger than us

This community isn't only about individual wellness. It's about creating a movement that starts with ourselves. We look inward to influence outward.

How do we want our daughters to relate to their bodies? Are you tired of watching your sisters and girlfriends struggle under the load? Can we better support our mothers through their changing life stages? Can we show the next generation that rest isn't laziness, health isn't perfection and our worth isn't measured by how much we can squeeze into a day?

And if we reconnect with the natural world, might we begin caring for her differently too? Perhaps change starts small — with one woman, one family, one conversation, one different choice. Then another. We can start to restore greater balance in our bodies and our lives, in our relationships with each other and with the earth, and pass something different on to the women who come after us.

This could be the turn of the tide right here.

Meet Holly

Hi, I'm Holly. I've been on this planet for over 42 years and have had my fair share of ups and downs - in work, relationships and health. I've also spent years following my curiosity about why we feel the way we do, and how food, lifestyle and the way we live can influence our wellbeing.

That curiosity has led me to become an Integrative Health Practitioner, Level 2, train in Facilitating Nature & Health Community Connection and complete a Master's in Nutrition Science and Practice. My Master’s research explored the evidence for tailoring nutritional interventions to menstrual cycle phases to help alleviate PMS, bringing together my interest in nutrition and the different phases of a woman's menstrual cycle. I'm a BANT registered Nutritional Therapist and have been supporting clients 1:1 through health coaching and personalised nutrition for over 5 years to rebalance their bodies naturally.

Alongside the qualifications, I've spent years learning, experimenting and experiencing much of this in my own life. And that's probably where my real passion lies — at the meeting point between nutrition, women's wellbeing, our natural rhythms and our connection with nature. I love taking complicated health and wellness information and making it understandable and useful in real life. But I'm not creating The Nature of Her™ because I have everything figured out. I'm living this too.

My role isn't to tell you exactly how you should live. It's to bring what I know, share what I'm learning, ask interesting questions and create a space where we can become more curious about ourselves together. Sometimes I'll guide. Sometimes I'll teach. Sometimes I'll bring in people who know far more about a subject than I do. And sometimes, the most interesting wisdom will come from the women inside the community.

Is The Nature of Her™ for me?

This community might be for you if you’re navigating PMS, perimenopause or changes in weight or energy, and wondering what your body needs now. Or you simply want to feel more connected and balanced in yourself, and be more present in your everyday life.

You're tired of the hamster wheel and are craving another way to live. You want to understand your body better — perhaps even make friends with it again.

You're interested in nutrition and wellbeing but exhausted by conflicting wellness rules. You're curious about cyclical living, nature and how your needs might change throughout the month, the year and different stages of your life.

You're open-minded enough to question some of the things you've always been told you should do. And you'd like to explore all of this alongside other women asking similar questions.

If that sounds like you, come and join us.

Come as you are

You don't need to know anything about cyclical living. You don't need the perfect diet. You don't need to meditate every morning, know the phase of the moon or spend your weekends barefoot in the woods. You don't need to change your whole life, and you definitely don't need another thing to keep up with. You just need to be curious.

Come in, introduce yourself and join the conversations that interest you. Ignore the ones that don't. Try something, question something, share what you're learning and meet other women who get it.

And when life gets busy, go and live it. We'll be here when you're ready to return.

Come as you are. Stay curious. Find your rhythm. Remember your nature.
